Young Goethe In Love

Biopic about the famous poet, which focuses on his early love affairs. Since Johann Goethe, yet an unknown writer, is neglecting his law studies, his enraged father has him transferred to a small town justice court. There he falls in love with young Lotte, and a happy future seems to lie before them. But the couple does not know that Lotte's father has promised her to another man who happens to be Johann's superior Kestner.
